RICO, THE SUPER LAID-BACK GOLDEN RETRIEVER, LOVES FALL, GOING ON WALKS, AND BETTER MADE CHIPS!
BERKLEY, MI – If Rico, the 85-pound Golden Retriever, could talk, he’d have one interesting story! Originally from Puerto Rico, he was adopted, flown in the cargo hold of a plane to foster care in Chicago, and then ended up being adopted by Ellen Brisson and Kevin Price from Berkley, MI. Now approximately 13, he served as a therapy pet for a time before retiring. According to Ellen he’s just one “laid back dog” that likes searching for Better Made chips of all varieties, but especially BBQ flavor.
Rico was chosen as the November 2022 pet of the month winner and for submitting this photo, Ellen and Kevin will receive a sampler box of delicious Better Made Snack Food products! “Rico has had quite a life,” says Brisson. “From the streets of Puerto Rico, flying to Chicago, to finding a permanent home with us here in Berkley, to serving as a therapy dog – he’s all that and a ball of wax! He’s handsome, charming, kind, well traveled, and best of all, he loves Better Made chips, especially his favorite – BBQ flavor. He’s a dog of all seasons and is one laid back dude who knows how to savor life. He also enjoys daily walks to visit anyone who stands still long enough to pet him and tell him he’s pretty, plus fishing, car rides, hunting for treats in the yard, and barking at random sounds.
