DETROIT, MI - April 2nd is World Autism Day and Better Made Snack Foods is on a quest to provide broader support for the Ted Lindsay Autism Foundation. Throughout the month of April, Better Made will donate partial proceeds from the sale of Family and Value Size potato chips and $0.99 bags of pork rinds to the foundation. The company hopes to surpass last year's donation of over $25,000.
Better Made and Ted Lindsay continue to work closely together to support autism research. This year people can visit the company website, read a special message from Lindsay, and download a great photo of him in action against the Montreal Canadiens in the 1950's: http://www.bettermadesnackfoods.com/npcd-autism-month. In addition, people can send $100 directly to the Foundation and receive a hand-signed photo from Lindsay, and BM gets the credit. This is all part of Better Made's ongoing commitment to the community
"We're always very excited to be have Better Made as one of our sponsors," says Ted. "They have been with us now for a number of years and have really done a great job. They're a quality company with great products, run by a family that really shows they care about the community in many ways. All money raised will go towards research and studies about strides in finding a cure for Autism."
