BETTER MADE MOURNS THE LOSS OF JIM GUSMANO, HUSBAND OF COMPANY CEO, CATHY GUSMANO

DETROIT, MI – It is with sadness that Better Made Snack Foods announces the passing of James “Jim” Gusmano, husband of Better Made Chairwoman and CEO, Cathy Gusmano. Jim Gusmano was 80 years old and lived in Grosse Pointe Shores. Jim had a long struggle with spinal issues and in lieu of flowers the family has asked that all donations be made in his name to the National Spinal Health Foundation.

“He was a wonderfully kind man, and a great dad,” says his son, Phillip Gusmano, also of Better Made. “He left us all with many great memories that will be treasured as long as we live. We will all miss him and his infectious smile.”
