MANDY THE CAT, AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS “LITTLE OLD LADY” IS THE DECEMBER BETTER MADE SNACK FOODS PET PHOTO WINNER!
HOWELL, MI – Mandy the cat, affectionately know as “Little Old Lady” has been named the December 2022 winner of the Better Made Snack Foods Pet Photos contest. Mandy, owned by Kim Carnahan of Howell, was 16 and had health problems later in life. She crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in April, but her memory lives on in Kim’s heart and on the Better Made web page!
For submitting Mandy’s photo, Kim will receive a sampler box of delicious Better Made Snack Food products. Pet contest photos of all kinds may be submitted by sending an e-mail to info@bettermade.com or by mailing a photo and description to Better Made Pet Photo Contest, 10148 Gratiot Avenue, Detroit, MI 48213. Be sure to include your name, address, and e-mail. Remember, Better Made encourages people to send in their most outrageous and/or cutest pet photo they can of their favorite pet, be it a dog, cat, goat, rabbit, bird, orangutan, frilled lizard, etc., and the funnier or cuter the better!
“Mandy was our sweet 16-year-old cat that we affectionately called, Little Old Lady. We almost lost her a couple years ago when she got a strange infection and spent a week at the MSU Vet Hospital getting fluids drained. Thankfully she bounce right back and was able to continue interrupting my workday by jumping on my makeshift desk and giving me high fives to get my attention. Sadly, Mandy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this past April and we still miss her. She was a great cat and I’m honored to receive her award posthumously, or is it postcatously, on her behalf.”
