Pork Rind Crusted Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops, 1 inch thick
1 bag (4 oz) Better Made Pork Rinds, crushed fine
2 large eggs, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Better Made Sweet Heat Seasoning Shaker, for finishing

Instructions

Pat the pork chops dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Crush the pork rinds inside the sealed bag until they look like coarse crumbs.
Set up two bowls: beaten eggs in one, crushed pork rinds in the other.
Dip each chop in the egg, then press firmly into the pork rind crumbs to coat both sides.
Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the chops 4 to 5 minutes per side until the internal temperature hits 145°F.
Rest the chops on a plate for 5 minutes. Shake Sweet Heat over the top before serving.
BETTER MADE TIP

Pork rinds crust faster than breadcrumbs, so keep an eye on the heat. Medium-high gets you crispy without burning.
